About MTRF
Marlow Town Regatta and Festival Limited is a not for profit organisation run for the purpose of managing the annual Marlow Town Regatta and Festival.
The organisation, often known simply as "MTRF" is run by an unpaid volunteer management committee made up of local Marlow residents. The Honorary Joint Presidents are Sir Steve Redgrave CBE, DL and Lady Redgrave. The management committee is chaired by Mr Nav Ali who is supported by vice chairman Mr Lance Slater, treasurer Mr Richard Robinson and 10 to 15 other members. MTRF manages all land based aspects of the Marlow Town Rowing Regatta which it runs in conjunction with Marlow Rowing Club who coordinate all competitor activities. On the Sunday of the event MTRF manage 2 simultaneous events. The annual Marlow Dragon Boat Festival is run in conjunction with Dragons Alive, a specialist Dragon Boating events company and the Marlow Canoe Regatta which is run in conjunction with Longridge Canoe Club.
