MARLOW DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

Sunday 9th June 2013.

The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival takes place on the regatta course with races starting at 9.30am and running throughout the day. The enclosure will be open from 8.00am and the last dragon boat race is expected to take place at about 4.45pm. The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival is organised by Dragons Alive and in recent years has attracted as many as 500 participants in 36 teams. Combined with a huge numbers of supporters both young and old this creates a wonderful atmosphere and a truly fantastic day out in the height of the British summer. A day out for all the family

Sunday is family day and not just for the dragon boat crews and their families and friends. Come down to watch and soak up the atmosphere.

There will be food stalls and plenty of picnic space, all right by the river with a great view of the colourful racing.  Bring your friends and family and enjoy the fun. Entry is free.

Limited car parking will be available, priced at £5 on the football field from 08.00 on an unreserved basis. The entrance is in Lower Pound Lane, off Pound Lane. All cars must be removed by 18.00.
