MARLOW TOWN REGATTA ENCLOSURE
The Marlow Town Regatta is a traditional rowing regatta best viewed from the “Regatta Enclosure” on the banks of the Thames in Higginson Park. The Regatta Enclosure provides direct access to the river and rowing. It also houses the Riverside Bar the picnic area, food stalls, Corporate Dining, Fine Dining and musical entertainment.
Entry to the Regatta Enclosure is by Regatta Badge which can be purchased through this website or from the Marlow Information Centre. For more information on badges and tickets click here.
Mandatory Dress Code
The Marlow Town Regatta is an opportunity to dress up and a STRICT DRESS CODE is applied for all Adult and Youth visitors and entry will be refused for those not dressed as per the dress code. Please click here for further information.
Round Table Riverside Bar
The Riverside Bar is run by volunteers from Marlow Round Table with all proceeds going to local charities and good causes. They will be serving Champagne, Prosecco, Pimm’s, Rebellion IPA, wines and beers. Located on the riverbank it is the perfect place to meet and chat with friends and still maintain a view of the rowing.
We have a new opportunity for a Fine Dining experience with the best views of the Thames for lunch in Marlow. Details will be updated with menus, costs and booking processes.
Picnic pitches are priced depending on location, with a small number of riverside pitches in Row (A) commanding the highest price. Please note that gazebos, tables and chairs are only allowed within the boundary of the designated picnic pitch. It will not be possible for you to spread, so if you think you might need more space we actively encourage you to purchase more pitches.
Picnic Pitches are for picnickers only. All cars should be parked in the main car park area and your goods can be carried into the enclosure using the trolley service provided.
Customers are welcome to enter the enclosure with a ticket and make use of available space, rather than book a pitch. Please be aware that the space is limited and we recommend securing a pitch.
There will be a free of charge trolley service in the car park to help with the transfer of gazebos, tables, chairs and your picnic between the car park and your picnic pitch.
You will be asked to pay a deposit but this is refundable on the return of the trolley within 60 minutes.
Please note that the service is run by external contractors who will only provide trolley services to those with a Picnic Pitch Ticket. You may be asked to show your ticket.
Trade Stalls, Food Stalls & Musical Entertainment
On Saturday, the Regatta Enclosure will include Food Stalls, Charity Stalls and musical entertainment. We are in partnership with Marlow FM 97.5 to support more local, live music and will be providing more details on this very soon.
